The Cast Crate is carrying case that allows you to create an All-in-One portable livestreaming broadcast solution in one box. The Cast Crate is a case similar to a road case. It is CNC machined to allow any of the ATEM Mini production video switchers and a Stream Deck keypad to be mounted in an easily accessible front panel. The crate or case also has an internal area that can be configured with a power supply, mini computer, router, battery option and more. The Cast Crate can be configured with several monitor options of your choice. More than just a protective box, the Cast Crate allows you to setup on location in just a couple of minutes. It is compact and self-contained.

The frequent questions we answered
By adding a heavy duty power supply and voltage regulators, the Cast Crate can eliminate the need for plugging in individual power supplies for each piece of equipment. The Cast Crate requires only one AC outlet. This also allows for the optional use of battery power. Our original unit allows the user to select either AC (wall) or DC (battery) power. It is easy to setup the Cast Crate to run off of V-Mount or Sony style batteries.
The Cast Crate is CNC machined from furniture grade 1/2″ plywood. CNC machining involves precise machining using computer controlled machinery. We use high quality road case hardware similar to what is used in the entertainment industry road cases. A road case is the heavy duty cases used to store and transport stage equipment used by entertainers.
The Cast Crate is not just a repurposed Pelican style storage case or road case. The Cast Crate is designed from the ground up to meet the requirements of two end users:
